Membership types
Intended for business people who are the owner, a partner or a senior executive of a business. Full members vote at the General Assembly, may stand as candidates for the bodies of the Association and may serve on its boards.
For companies joining the Association as corporate members. The company takes part in the work of the Association through its authorised representative, and more than one of its executives may take part in events and boards.
Intended for young business people who run their own venture or hold management responsibility in a family business. Young members take part in the work of Young TİBİAD and in the mentoring programme.
Granted by decision of the Board of Directors to individuals distinguished by their contributions to the business community, science or society. Honorary members are exempt from membership fees and do not vote at the General Assembly.
Application process
The Board of Directors decides on your application within 30 days at the latest and notifies you of the outcome in writing.
You complete the application form with your personal, company and membership details.
The General Secretariat reviews your application and gets in touch with you.
A short introductory meeting is held with the Organisation and Member Relations Directorate.
Documents such as your identity card, certificate of activity and tax registration certificate are requested, together with references from two members.
The Board of Directors decides on the application within 30 days at the latest and notifies you of the outcome in writing.
At an orientation meeting you get to know the structure of the Association and join the relevant sector board and directorates.

Frequently asked questions
Business people who are at least 18 years of age, have full legal capacity and are the owner, a partner or a senior executive of a business can become full members. Companies can apply for corporate membership, and entrepreneurs and executives aged 18 to 40 can apply for Young TİBİAD membership.
Applications are made through the online application form on our website. Following a preliminary review by the General Secretariat and an introductory meeting, documents and references from two members are requested; the Board of Directors decides on the application within 30 days at the latest.
Yes. Applications for full, corporate and young membership require references from two members of the Association. If you do not have a reference, we will invite you to the Association's events during the introductory meeting and help you get to know our members.
The entrance donation and the annual membership fee are set by decision of the Board of Directors and vary according to the type of membership. The current amounts are communicated to you in writing during the preliminary review of your application.
Simply state the sector in which you operate and your areas of interest on the application form. Once your membership has been accepted, the Sector Boards Coordination Directorate will direct you to the relevant board; you may take part in the work of more than one board.
