### Data controller

 

Under the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("KVKK"), your personal data are processed by TİBİAD Tüm Birleşik İş İnsanları Derneği ("TİBİAD") as data controller, within the scope described below.

 

### Personal data processed

 

Through the membership application, contact and e-newsletter forms on our website we process the identity (name and surname), contact (e-mail, telephone, city) and professional (company, position, sector, number of employees, website) information you share, your membership preferences and the content of your message. To prevent misuse of the forms, your IP address is kept for a short period in one-way hashed form.

 

### Purposes of processing

 

Assessing your membership application and contacting you; responding to your enquiries; sending the e-newsletter if you consent; conducting the association's activities in accordance with the law and ensuring information security.

 

### Legal grounds

 

Your personal data are processed on the legal grounds set out in Article 5(2) of the KVKK: processing being directly related to the establishment or performance of a contract, compliance with a legal obligation of the data controller, and legitimate interest provided that it does not harm your fundamental rights and freedoms. The e-newsletter is sent on the basis of your explicit consent.

 

### Transfers

 

Your personal data are not shared with third parties other than competent public authorities within the scope of legal obligations. Web hosting and e-mail service providers may access the data solely as technical infrastructure providers, as required by the service.

 

### Method of collection

 

Your personal data are collected electronically through the forms on our website, directly from you. Our website does not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies.

 

### Retention period

 

Membership applications are deleted or anonymised after the application is concluded and the retention periods required by law have expired; enquiries within a reasonable period after they are answered; and e-newsletter records when you end your subscription.

 

### Your rights

 

Under Article 11 of the KVKK you have the right to learn whether your personal data are processed and to request information if so; to learn the purpose of processing and whether data are used in line with that purpose; to know the third parties to whom data are transferred; to request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data and their erasure or destruction; to request that these operations be notified to third parties; to object to a result against you arising from analysis by automated systems; and to claim compensation for damage arising from unlawful processing.
