In line with its statutes and the legislation on associations, our Association is governed by the General Assembly, the Board of Directors and the Supervisory Board. The Honour Board, the High Advisory Board and the General Secretariat complement our work.

 
 
 
 
 
 
  
 
 

Chairman of the Board

 

### Cem R. DURAN

 

As Chairman of the Board of TİBİAD, Cem R. DURAN is responsible for setting the Association's institutional direction, developing relations with the business community and public institutions, and coordinating the work of the directorates and sector boards. His experience in foreign trade, financial management and international business development guides the Association's work across four regions.

#### General Assembly

 

The highest decision-making body of the Association. It consists of full members; it elects the Board of Directors and the Supervisory Board, discusses the activity and financial reports, and decides on amendments to the statutes.

 
 
  

#### Board of Directors

 

It represents the Association, implements the decisions of the General Assembly, assigns duties to the directorates and sector boards, and decides on membership applications.

 
 
  

#### Supervisory Board

 

It examines whether the Association works in line with its objectives and whether its books, accounts and records are kept in accordance with the legislation and the statutes, and reports to the General Assembly.

 
 
  

#### Honour Board

 

It assesses whether members act in accordance with the statutes, business ethics and the values of the Association, and gives its opinion in disputes.

 
 
  

#### High Advisory Board

 

Composed of experienced business people and experts in their fields, it advises on the long-term direction of the Association and on major items on its agenda.

 
 
  

#### General Secretariat

 

It manages the day-to-day running of the Association, member services, correspondence and the working arrangements between the directorates and the boards.

 
 
 
 
 
 
 

Working procedures

### Meetings and reporting

  #### Board of Directors meetings
  The Board of Directors meets at regular intervals and reviews the work of the directorates and sector boards on its agenda.

  #### Directorate and board reports
  Each directorate and sector board reports its work plan, the projects it carries out and their results to the Board of Directors.
3. 03
  #### General Assembly and activity report
  The activities of the term and the financial statements are submitted to the General Assembly for review by the members.
